Sterling Run Tavern at 1 P.M.
Meeting for January is changed due to district Pool Shoot on Jan. 14th which is our normal meeting time.
Chapter members that will be going to the district pool touranment to play will be as Follows:
1st place Paul Gabor
2nd place Walt Sipe
3rd place Mike Meyer
4th place Deb Gabor
5th place Donna Heindel
Alternates are Sherry, Nate, Ron Main, Brenda,
Good Luck to all . Hope some get to go to States.
We still need all members to become active members and attend meetings and help with all the events being planned. With out everyone working together. All the projects that need to be done will not get done!!!! So please come forward and volunteer to help!!!
CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS chairman Brenda reported that on Wednesday Dec. 14th we will be presenting a check to the minstrel from the donations to be used to purchase the rest of the toys needed by them to give out.
It looks like the trip to visit our Gold Supporter will have to be done by cars or vans what ever we can get to help to transport all that want to go on the trip. It will be request that the driver of the vehicle not drink and drive on the trip. So if you have a van and would like to volunteer to be a driver please let an officer know. This will probably take place in Feb. And in March we are planning a scavenger hunt; information on both of these will be published as soon as possible.
We have a new web master who will be working on this site and also is designing a web site on google. We are excited about the new help and what we have seen so far of his designs it looks great and I can't wait till it goes public. Thank you John for taking on the job of Web Master.
So if there is something you are good at and would like to help all you need to do is come to a meeting and let the officers know what you are good at and what you would like to help out with.
For updates on alerts you can see them on Facebook on Endless Mountains applications. There are 2 of them and you can hit the like button to have them post on you page. The state also has a facebook page also you can be added to to receive the information on their pages.
ABATE's goal and purpose is to keep motorcyclists, members, and the public informed, to promote safe riding habits, and to encourage favorable legislation for motorcyclists. This is accomplished through a monthly newsletter, e-mail alerts, safety & education programs, working with the state and federal legislators, and voter registration promotion.
Since 1983, A.B.A.T.E. has represented the interests of motorcyclists riding Pennsylvania's roads. Through a variety of programs, A.B.A.T.E. is working to protect and preserve the rights of over 800,000 licensed motorcyclists.
